Literature Text

So your heart was empty, nothing cold.
I tried to warm your fate.
But you saw a weakness, a bleeding hole.
You dug yourself down deep.

Overtime I healed, left with a scar.
I was branded with your face.
The memories, they burn my soul,
In my sacred resting place.

So I tore my skin, same place before,
The place where you reside.
I cut it deeper, revealing bone.
Now there's nowhere you can hide.

The blood it's thickening, loosing life.
It's locking up the gate.
You can't come in now, it's too late,
And there's no other way.
I wrote this over the summer.

No, I'm talking about cutting my wrist, not ripping skin off.
